SUSY02 : BULLETIN #3

THE 10th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

ON SUPERSYMMETRY

AND UNIFICATION OF FUNDAMENTAL INTERACTIONS

INFORMATION

All information is available on the web page

http://www.desy.de/SUSY02/

which you may consult for the program, maps of the DESY site and the
city of Hamburg, time tables for public transportation, restaurants,
events in the city, etc.

REGISTRATION

Registration will start in the Foyer of the DESY Auditorium, Bldg.#5,
on Monday morning June 17 at 8:30 am. Those of you who will pay the
conference fee upon arrival, are kindly asked to pay EUR 100 in cash;
please bring the exact amount with you to speed up the registration
procedure.

COMMUNICATION

Terminals will be installed for communication in the hall Sm.Rm.1 of
Lab.1A. E-mail and WEB-browsers can be accessed without account; other
services on demand. Wireless and wired notebook connections are possible
in this hall.

PRESENTATIONS

All plenary talks will be presented in the DESY Auditorium [= Horsaal].
The talks will be broadcast for your convenience to the Foyer. Parallel
sessions will be organized in the Auditorium and in the seminar rooms
Sm.Rm.2, 4(a/b) and 61 [see the DESY site maps].

Talks may be presented by using transparencies, or electronically. In
the latter case, speakers must be equipped with their own laptop, and
they should check in advance that their notebook is compatible with
the beamers available in the Auditorium and the seminar rooms. Moreover,
they are strongly urged to bring along transparencies as back-up, since
the program is very dense and cannot accomodate delays.

DOCUMENTATION

Copies of the transparencies presented in plenary talks will be made
available on the web if speakers agree. Speakers are kindly asked to
send us in advance a .pdf file, or a URL where the file can be picked
up, or to tell us the e-address after the talk. If this is not possible,
the transparencies will be scanned.

Speakers in the parallel sessions may also send us a URL for picking
up the file of the talk. Transparencies from the parallel sessions will
not be scanned.

PROCEEDINGS

All speakers in the plenary and parallel sessions are invited to write
up their talks. They will first be published electronically and, if
enough contributions will be submitted, they will be printed later in
official book form [paper-back].

The manuscript, pages non-numbered, should be sent to us as .ps file
with the text fitting exactly in a window of width = 16 cm and height
= 23 cm. The number of pages should be close to one third of the minutes
allocated to the talk.

The deadline for submitting the manuscript to "susy02@mail.desy.de" is
October 31, 2002.

VISIT TO THE DESY LABORATORY

Visits are offered on Friday afternoon to the TESLA Test Facility,
the Zeus detector at HERA and the synchrotron-light laboratory Hasylab.
Sign-up sheets for guided tours will be posted in the Foyer of the

the Auditorium at 5 pm. You will be disembarked at "Landungsbrucken"
from where you have City Railway and Subway connections to any other
