The analysed data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 145 pb^-1. The cross section is measured as a function of the virtuality Q^2 of the exchanged photon and the centre-of-mass energy W of the gamma*p system in the kinematic domain 6.5 < Q^2 < 80 GeV^2, 30 < W < 140 GeV and |t| < 1 GeV^2, where t denotes the squared momentum transfer at the proton vertex. The cross section is determined differentially in t for different Q^2 and W values and exponential t-slope parameters are derived. The measurements are compared to a NLO QCD calculation based on generalised parton distributions. In the context of the dipole approach, the geometric scaling property of the DVCS cross section is studied for different values of t. \\ ( http://arxiv.org/abs/0709.4114 , 51kb) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \\ arXiv:0709.4165 Date: Wed, 26 Sep 2007 14:00:07 GMT (28kb) Title: Observation of B^+ Meson Decays to a1(1260)^+ K^0 and B^0 to a1(1260)^- K^+ Authors: The BABAR Collaboration, B. Aubert, et al Categories: hep-ex Comments: 7 pages, 2 postscript figures. Submitted to Phys. Rev. Lett Report-no: BABAR-PUB-07/056, SLAC-PUB-12826 \\ We present branching fraction measurements of the decays B^{+} -> a1(1260)^{+} K^{0} and B^{0} to a1(1260)^{-} K^{+} with a1(1260)^{+} -> pi^{-} pi^{+} pi^{+}. The data sample corresponds to 383 million B B-bar pairs produced in e^{+}e^{-} annihilation through the Y(4S) resonance. We measure the products of the branching fractions: B(B^{+}-> a1(1260)^{+} K^{0})B(a1(1260)^{+} -> pi^{-} pi^{+} pi^{+}) = (17.4 +/- 2.5 +/- 2.2) 10^{-6} B(B^{0}-> a1(1260)^{-} K^{+})B(a1(1260)^{-} -> pi^{+} pi^{-} pi^{-}) = (8.2 +/- 1.5 +/- 1.2) 10^{-6}. We also measure the charge asymmetries A_{ch}(B^{+} -> a1(1260)^{+} K^{0})= 0.12 +/- 0.11 +/- 0.02 and A_{ch}(B^{0} -> a1(1260)^{-} K^{+})= -0.16 +/- 0.12 +/- 0.01. The first uncertainty quoted is statistical and the second is systematic. \\ ( http://arxiv.org/abs/0709.4165 , 28kb) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \\ arXiv:0709.4184 Date: Wed, 26 Sep 2007 15:03:13 GMT (59kb) Title: Observation of Ds1(2536)+ -> D+pi-K+ and angular decomposition of Ds1(2536)+ -> D*+K0S Authors: Belle Collaboration Categories: hep-ex Comments: Submitted to Phys.Rev.D 16 pages, 6 figures, 3 tables \\ Using 462/fb of e+e- annihilation data recorded by the Belle detector, we report the first observation of the decay Ds1(2536)+ -> D+pi-K+. The ratio of branching fractions B(Ds1+ -> D+pi-K+)/B(Ds1+ -> D*+K0) is measured to be (3.27+-0.18+-0.37)%. We also study the angular distributions in the Ds1(2536)+ -> D*+K0S decay and measure the ratio of D- and S-wave amplitudes. The S-wave dominates, with a partial width of Gamma_S/Gamma_total=0.72+-0.05+-0.01. \\ ( http://arxiv.org/abs/0709.4184 , 59kb) %-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%-%- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \\ arXiv:0709.3744 (*cross-listing*) Date: Mon, 24 Sep 2007 13:31:13 GMT (27kb) Title: Combined Electroweak Analysis Authors: Martin W. Grunewald Categories: hep-ph hep-ex Comments: 7 pages and 6 figures Report-no: UCD-PHYC/070901 \\ Recent developments in the measurement of precision electroweak measurements are summarised, notably new results on the mass of the top quark and mass and width of the W boson. Predictions of the Standard Model are compared to the experimental results which are used to constrain the input parameters of the Standard Model, in particular the mass of the Higgs boson. The agreement between measurements and expectations from theory is discussed. There have been theoretical predictions in favour of such phenomena when appropriate axion-electromagnetic coupling is assumed. Origin of such a coupling can be traced in a low energy string action from the requirement of quantum consistency. The resulting couplings in such models are artifact of the compactification of the extra dimensions present inevitably in a string scenario. The moduli parameters which encode the compact manifold therefore plays a crucial role in determining the axion-photon coupling. In this work we examine the possible bounds on the value of compact modulus that emerge from the experimental limits on the coupling obtained from the PVLAS data. In particular we focus into Randall-Sundrum type of warped geometry model whose modulus parameter is already restricted from the requirement of the resolution of gauge hierarchy problem in connection with the mass of Higgs. We explore the bound on the modulus for a wide range of the axion mass for both the birefringence and the dichroism data in PVLAS. We show that the proposed value of the modulus in RS scenario can only be accommodated for axion mass $\gsim$ 0.3 eV. \\ ( http://arxiv.org/abs/0709.3940 , 23kb) %%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%%--%% ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \\ arXiv:0704.2652 replaced with revised version Wed, 26 Sep 2007 15:49:48 GMT (25kb) Title: Observation of the Decay \bar{B0}-> Ds+ Lambda \bar{p} Authors: T.
